We currently have two positions available within St David’s Catholic Sixth Form College for an innovative Pastoral Tutor to be part of the wider Pastoral department.
Job Overview
The Governing Body is looking for two committed, enthusiastic Pastoral Tutors to be a key part of our learners’ education, providing focussed learner support and ensuring that all learners fulfil their potential during their time with us in the College. You should understand the importance of pastoral care and support, and have a strong commitment to the high achievement of young people. The role also involves one to one sessions with learners.
Job Requirements
The post will involve class-based delivery of a comprehensive pastoral programme, so a teaching background would be desirable.
Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills are essential
The ability to work in a team to share good practice and provide support and advice for students across the ability range.
Job Details
The position is offered as a FULL TIME role on a FIXED TERM contract and it attracts a salary of £29,941.75.
Shortlisting will take place the week beginning 15th September 2025
Interviews will be held the week beginning 22nd September 2025
The College operates a Sixth Form College academic year and therefore the Autumn Term begins in late August to allow for enrolment activities.
