Administrator - Part Time (20 hours per week)
Location: Outskirts of Southampton (parking available)
Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum (pro rata)

Our client, a rapidly growing organisation working with some of the leading names in Science and Technology, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week, 4 hours per day). This is a varied role that will support the smooth and efficient running of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organising despatch and delivery documentation
  • Forwarding invoices to customer's post-despatch
  • Processing customer orders and issuing order confirmations
  • Assisting with customs and shipping queries
  • Maintaining office and laboratory supplies
  • Handling and forwarding incoming enquiries
  • Booking in deliveries and managing associated records
  • General office administration, including filing and organisation

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous administrative experience in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with flexibility in approach
  • IT proficiency, including MS Excel, Word, Teams (experience with Sage 50 or similar finance systems is an advantage)
  • Own transport required due to office location
