Based in Manchester, Timmins Group Ltd is a unique family-run business which undertakes building fabric maintenance and fire protection projects throughout the North West of England, Yorkshire and Nationwide.
We have long-term contracts for blue chip customers such as the BBC, Home Office, DWP, Local & Civil Government, Hospitals, Schools and Colleges, BAE Systems, Police Training Centres, UKBA, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Defence and Housing Associations.
Due to continued success, we are seeking to recruit hard-working multi-skilled Operatives. The role is offered with training such as PASMA, Face fit, manual handling, abrasive wheels, etc. and a career path for those who wish to advance. Are you the right person for the job?
• You will ideally hold NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery (or equivalent)
• A valid CSCS card is preferred
• You must hold a full, clean driving licence and have the right to work in the UK
• Excellent communication skills to work with customers and colleagues
• Flexible, physically fit, and able to travel to customer sites across the North West and beyond
What will your role look like?
• Travelling to customer sites and carrying out installations and maintenance
• Installing fire doors, partitions, plastering, ceilings, window installations, and general refurbishment
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety and company policies
• Working overtime when required
