Crynodeb
The successful candidate will support the Pathology IT Manager in ensuring the effective operation of pathology systems across all specialties. Youll help maintain and configure the Laboratory Information Management System (WinPath Enterprise) and support users of the ICE order communications system. Your work will directly contribute to accurate test requesting, result reporting, and efficient laboratory workflows. Key responsibilities include: Providing first-line support for pathology staff using digital systems Troubleshooting and escalating system issues appropriately Maintaining user accounts, access levels, and test catalogue data Supporting LIMS and ICE configuration changes and updates Assisting with data quality checks and support data quality improvement, including Trust and third party reporting systems Participating in digital transformation projects, including electronic requesting rollouts Providing informal training and documentation for system users Supporting the implementation of system upgrades, validation testing, and go-live activities This is a developmental role ideal for a Biomedical Scientist who is confident in their scientific knowledge and interested in applying it to healthcare IT and system improvement. Training and mentorship will be provided.
