Crynodeb
At Heart to Heart Home Care, we are a small, family-run company based in Reepham, supporting elderly clients within a 4-mile radius—including Cawston, Lenwade, and Lyng. We are proud of the excellent, person-centered care we provide and are passionate about treating our clients as we would our own loved ones.
We are growing rapidly due to our strong local reputation and are now looking for a Care Assistant who is an excellent communicator, works well in a friendly and welcoming team, and is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
Working Hours
Our care calls take place between 6:30am and 10:15pm, split into two daily shifts:
- Morning and Lunch
- Afternoon and Evening
- Team members work alternate weekends, with an enhanced hourly rate for weekend shifts.
About the Role
We are looking for someone who brings warmth, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to helping others. Experience in care is helpful, but not essential - we offer full training and a structured induction for the right person.
We are especially interested in candidates who:
- Communicate clearly, confidently, and with empathy
- Work well within a small, supportive team
- Are proactive and dependable
- Understand the importance of building relationships with both clients and colleagues
- Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle (due to our rural client base)
- Are happy to work alternate weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks
- Offer companionship and emotional reassurance
- Prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met
- Support with light housekeeping
- Observe and report changes in a client’s condition
- Follow detailed care plans and communicate effectively with the wider care team
What We Offer
- Work-Life Balance and Flexibility
- We understand family life and personal commitments. We work hard to ensure your schedule fits around your needs.
Supportive Team Culture
You will work alongside a small, dedicated team that values communication, respect, and mutual support. Our Registered Manager (Carolyn) and Senior (Danni) are always available and included on the rota - you’ll never feel alone in your role.
Training and Career Progression
We are a growing business and offer a range of accredited training opportunities. Whether you are just starting in care or looking to advance, we will support your development.
Enhanced Weekend and Bank Holiday Pay
We value your time, especially at weekends. You will receive enhanced pay for weekend shifts and double pay on bank holidays.
Minimal Travel Time
We operate solely in Reepham, Cawston, Lenwade and Lyng - no long drives between clients or county-wide travel.
