Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Emergency Lighting & Electrical PPMs
Location: Moorgate, London
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days Only, 7am–7pm)
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client-facing engineering team within a prestigious law firm in Moorgate. This role offers the opportunity to work in a professional corporate environment, ensuring the smooth and safe operation of critical building systems on the tenant side.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance on emergency lighting systems and other electrical services.
- Supporting wider electrical systems across the site, including small power, distribution boards, lighting controls, and general building services.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory testing and health & safety standards at all times.
- Providing a client-facing service with excellent communication and professionalism.
- Working closely with the facilities team to maintain building performance and safety.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering / Building Services.
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (essential).
- Proven experience in a similar electrical maintenance role, ideally within a commercial or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of emergency lighting systems, electrical testing, and fault-finding.
- Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to work independently.
