We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting students’ learning and helping them achieve their full potential across a range of subjects. Starting October 2025.
Duties as Secondary Teaching Assistant:
Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons and learning activities.
Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce understanding and progress.
Assist with students who have SEN, EAL, or other additional learning needs.
Help prepare teaching resources and support classroom management.
Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour as required.
Encourage a positive, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment.
Ideal Secondary Teaching Assistant:
Experience working with secondary-aged students desirable.
Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to different subjects and teaching styles.
Good communication and teamwork skills as a Secondary Teaching Assistant.
Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) advantageous but not essential.
