We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join a school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with additional learning needs. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as SEN Teacher:
Plan and deliver personalised lessons to support pupils with SEN across a range of subjects and abilities.
Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor pupil progress.
Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, specialists, and parents to provide tailored support.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Provide guidance and support to colleagues on SEN best practices.
Ideal SEN Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching pupils with SEN, ideally across primary or secondary settings.
Strong knowledge of SEN frameworks, legislation, and interventions.
Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills as SEN Teacher.
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting every child’s learning journey.
