We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join a school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with additional learning needs. Beginning ASAP.

Duties as SEN Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver personalised lessons to support pupils with SEN across a range of subjects and abilities.

  • Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor pupil progress.

  • Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, specialists, and parents to provide tailored support.

  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet diverse learning needs.

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on SEN best practices.

Ideal SEN Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching pupils with SEN, ideally across primary or secondary settings.

  • Strong knowledge of SEN frameworks, legislation, and interventions.

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills as SEN Teacher.

  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting every child’s learning journey.
