Early Years Practitioner
We are currently looking for a Qualified Level 2 or Level 3 or above Early year’s practitioner to work at our lovely Nursery in Dunchurch.
Working 4 full days 8am till 6pm with one full day off per week. 51 weeks a year (We close for a week at Christmas for Family time).
You must have a minimum Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare with experience and a love of working with children 9 months to 3 year olds.
We are looking for individuals who share our belief of the Montessori method of teaching and learning and who have a caring and sensitive nature to cater for the children's needs and help them to develop. Children are at the heart of everything we do, so we are looking to build our team with individuals to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. Most importantly you must be happy to go home looking mucky; be able to quickly become an astronaut one day to a princess the next; be able to create a dinosaur out of a cardboard box and have a warm smile that makes every child feel special.

• Likes enjoys being outside whatever the weather as we are an all weather nursery and make sure children play outside everyday and we go for lovely walks daily.
• Someone who is motivated and driven.
Responsibilities and Duties
We would like you to :
• Provide a warm, caring and stimulating environment where all our little ones feel safe and happy.
• Contribute towards planning stimulating activities suitable to the individual needs of the children in your care, Your idea's will be valued and listened to.
• Work alongside the Room leaders and the team to ensure that the philosophy behind The Rugby Montessori Nursery School is fulfilled and all our children have a happy experience whilst with us.
• Help with the day-to-day running of the room, including setting up activities and tidying.
• Prepare bottles, snacks, drinks and tea in line with our policies.
• Maintain hygiene standards following our policies and procedures.
• Work as a key person for a group of children, observing and documenting their learning and making sure they reach their development goals.
• Follow all nursery policies and procedures
• Ensure children are kept safe following our Safeguarding policies and procedures.
• To liaise with parents and carers ( Parents as Partners ) and other childcare professionals ensuring that the children's daily routines and developmental needs are met.
• To help with the smooth and efficient running of the room and nursery
Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for an Early Years Educator/ Nursery Nurse who is a qualified level 2 , 3 or above in Childcare and has a passion for working with children.
The wage will depend on your experience and qualifications and can be discussed at interview.
