The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Resourcing Partner to join us in this brand new pivotal role to lead end-to-end recruitment activity across our 20 operating Divisions and central Head Office, for a diverse portfolio of roles across the Group. The role will support in recruiting all vacancies across operational and corporate functions including construction, sales, technical, commercial, land, and all support functions, from entry to senior level appointments.

As the Group Resourcing Partner, you will work closely with senior stakeholders and the wider HR team to attract, source, and retain top talent in line with business needs, ensuring seamless and engaging candidate experience at every stage. As well as leading on recruitment activity, this exciting new role will also support the wider central HR team in the delivery of the People Plan, including key initiatives to increase diversity of hires in line with recruitment process.

Key responsibilities include

Proactively sourcing and screening applicants against vacancy requirements
Briefing and shortlisting of candidates through each step of the application process
Developing and implementing direct sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates, reducing reliance and spend on third-party agencies
Collaborating with the resourcing team to maintain recruitment process efficiency and compliance
Managing key internal stakeholders, including supporting hiring managers through the end-to-end recruitment process including coaching through interview and offer stages
Liaising with third-party recruitment agencies to support hiring efforts where required
Championing a best-in-class candidate experience, ensuring consistent communication and feedback throughout
Building talent pools through targeted recruitment channels and social media
Driving improvements in key recruitment metrics including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and direct hire ratios
Contributing to employer branding initiatives and talent attraction campaigns to actively promote career opportunities within Bellway
Supporting continuous improvement of recruitment processes, systems, and tools
Experience

Proven experience in a recruitment agency or in-house talent acquisition role
Demonstrated success in a target-driven environment with a strong focus on commercial impact
Experience in managing multiple business units or accounts
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology platforms
Knowledge of employment legislation and recruitment best practices
Previous experience within construction or related sector would be advantageous
Qualifications and training

GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C (or equivalent) or above
Skills and aptitude

Excellent administration and organisation skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent listening and influencing skills, with the ability to manage a range of internal and external stakeholders
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Ability to work on own as well as part of a team
Strong understanding of sourcing techniques, recruitment marketing, and candidate engagement strategies
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse and act on recruitment metrics
Passionate about delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences
Proficient IT skills and the ability to adapt to new systems

Working Conditions

Willing to be flexible in respect to day-to-day duties and hours worked
Core hours and flexible working options available
Office based role Monday-Friday (1 day working from home per week)
Ad hoc travel to divisional offices as required
