MedHut is offering a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship in partnership with Buttercups Training. This is a two-year, fully funded training programme that combines workplace experience in an online pharmacy with structured study, leading to registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

As an online pharmacy, MedHut supports patients through safe and efficient prescription processing, medicines dispensing, and home delivery. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a digital-first healthcare setting while training to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the safe and accurate preparation and dispensing of prescribed medicines
- Process and manage electronic prescriptions and patient records
- Communicate with patients and healthcare professionals via phone, email and online platforms
- Assist with medicines reconciliation and accuracy checking training as part of the programme
- Monitor and manage stock levels, including ordering, storage and date checking
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for online pharmacy services
- Participate fully in all apprenticeship training, assessments and workplace reviews

Entry Requirements:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above in English Language, Maths and Science (essential)
- One other GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above (desirable)
- Right to work in the UK and eligibility for apprenticeship funding
-Commitment to completing the 24-month training programme
- Good communication skills (written and verbal), accuracy, and ability to work in a team

Training and Support:
- Enrolment onto the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship with Buttercups Training
- Blended learning programme (distance/online learning with workplace supervision)
- One day per week protected study time plus minimum 6 hours per week off-the-job training
- Support from a Buttercups tutor, peer discussions and an Individual Training Plan tailored to your needs
- Workplace supervision from a designated GPhC-registered Educational Supervisor
