Pay rate: £14.98 per hour PAYE
The role:
We are seeking a Support Officer to deliver high-quality housing management and support services to customers in supported accommodation. You’ll help clients maintain tenancies, improve wellbeing, and access local resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage support plans with clients
Signpost to external services (e.g. health, legal, DWP)
Carry out lettings, risk assessments, and tenancy support
Promote engagement with community and partner agencies
Support rent collection and financial independence
What the client is looking for:
Experience in housing support or social care
Strong communication and advocacy skills
Knowledge of welfare benefits and housing legislation
Confident IT user (e.g. MS Word, Outlook)
Flexible, team-oriented attitude
Relevant qualifications desirable
What the client offers:
Office-based role in Gillingham (ME7 5HP)
36 hours per week
Initial 1-month assignment
Opportunity to make a real impact in supported housing
