At Krishna Avanti Primary School, Leicester, we are seeking a dedicated Upper Key Stage 2 Class Teacher who is passionate about helping every child thrive and achieve their full potential.

This role offers the chance to inspire young learners, develop creative and engaging lessons, and build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.

What will you do?
• Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, ensuring progress and high standards of achievement.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and mutual respect.
• Use assessment effectively to track pupil progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching to support learning.
• Build strong partnerships with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community to support pupils’ development and wellbeing.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of students, ensuring compliance with school policies and protocols.
What are we looking for?
• Qualified to bachelor’s degree level in relevant or allied subject
• QTS qualified
• Able to work independently, collaboratively and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills with children, parents and carers
• Ability to create and maintain professional working relationships
• Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students
