Your new role
As a Finance Assistant (Accounts Payable), you'll play a key role in supporting the finance team by managing invoices, purchase orders, and payments. You'll ensure accurate financial records, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and support audit preparation. The role also involves liaising with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth and compliant financial operations across multiple sites.
What you'll need to succeed
- A detail-oriented and results-driven approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Sunsystems and Microsoft Excel (essential)
- Knowledge of VAT regulations and HMRC compliance
- Experience in hotel finance operations (Income Audit and Sales Ledger) is highly desirable
- A proactive mindset and the ability to maintain confidentiality
