Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Hours: 16.25 per week

Salary: £9,610.41 - £9,762.87 (Scale 3 pro rata)

Contract: Term Time, Part Time, Fixed Term until 31st August 2026 due to funding

Start Date: ASAP after appointment

We are looking for a dedicated teaching assistant to join our successful team, supporting individual children as well as providing general teaching assistant support. Responsibilities include group work, one to one support, first aid, intimate care, assessment and admin. Although this role is initially until August 2026 it is highly likely that this will be extended.




Our teaching assistant will have:

Experience or prior knowledge of supporting children with additional needs.

Good behaviour management skills.

Have prior experience and be knowledgeable on how to effectively support the development of a child.

Enthusiasm and flexibility in their approach.

Effective communication skills.

Experience of being a team player.
