We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly skilled practitioner to work initially in our Early Years team. As a Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) you will work with the class teacher and other professionals, to deliver provision from an Education, Health and Care Plan. This will be on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. It may also include supporting a child during their lunchtime. Experience of working with pupils with SEND is essential.

Applicants are expected to have NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. It is also a requirement of the job that practitioners have sound literacy and numeracy skills and are able to teach phonics and maths guided by the class teacher. Candidates should also be IT literate with the basic software applications.
