Location: Market Harborough, Leicestershire based, with hybrid/remote working considered depending on the candidate. Contract: This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis - 35hrs per week.Salary: c£27,000, dependent upon experience, skills and qualifications.HMC is seeking a dynamic and proactive Multimedia Specialist to support the development and production of high-quality multimedia outputs to promote the organisation, its schools and the services HMC offers. This role would suit someone starting their career in graphic design, social media content production, photography or video production. HMC produces a wide variety of content, physical, digital and in-person and this role will need to support teams across the business to produce assets and collateral to support the organisation’s aims.As our communications evolve and change over time, and the demands from the business develop and shift, the role holder will need to update and learn new skills to support new technologies and products. What You Will Be Doing
Graphic Design: Create visually appealing brochures, flyers, digital banners, presentations, and other marketing materials to promote courses, membership, events, and initiatives.
Video Production: Plan, shoot, edit, and produce engaging video content for marketing, educational purposes, and social media platforms.
Social Media Content Creation: Developing and designing content for social media campaigns, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and audience engagement.
Branding & Visual Identity: Maintain and evolve the company’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms and materials, evolving the organisation’s brand guidelines as required.
Photography: Capture high-quality images for use in promotional materials and social media content.
Collaboration: Work closely with all of HMC’s internal teams, schools and other external organisations to create content that aligns with business objectives.
Market Research & Trends: Stay updated on multimedia trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to improve content quality and engagement.
Other responsibilities
Create and post digital marketing content.
Posting on HMC’s social media channels.
Proactively work with colleagues across the organisation to improve standards and approaches to design and brand.
Build and maintain an internal HMC video and imagery library.
Work with colleagues and the HMC Data Officer to ensure proper usage permissions are in place and that all other relevant GDPR regulations are followed.
Maintain and update website imagery where appropriate.
Providing support to update email marketing templates.
About You
Proven experience in graphic design, video production, and multimedia content creation.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) or equivalent design and video editing tools.
Strong portfolio showcasing experience across a variety of different medias and different materials, demonstrating an ability to adapt design styles to different briefs.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively within a team.
Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset to develop innovative and engaging content.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interpret and implement briefs effectively.
Knowledge of social media trends and best practices for digital content marketing.
Experience in working with brand guidelines to ensure consistency.
Experience in the education sector or a related industry.
Familiarity with podcast production tools and audio editing software.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for web content creation.
Motion graphics and animation skills.
Photography and photo editing skills.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and user experience principles.
This is an entry level role with an entry level salary.
