Crynodeb
As the Head of Capital Projects, you will be working with the full range of clinicians, PFI partners, staff groups and patient forums/focus groups, as required, interpret the client brief for schemes, provide advice as required, manage, prepare, and collate feasibility studies with other team members, provide and deliver large, intermediate and minor works contracts, some of a highly complex nature, within budget and timescales as required by the Trust. With input from other team members provide budget costs and forecasts for new schemes to be included in the Capital Programme and the Trust's Strategic Planning Programme for other external NHS organisations. Ensure financial control of all schemes/VET's undertaken in the value range of £5,000 to £5,000,000, including authorisation of payments and valuations and liaise closely with members of the Planning and Finance Departments in cost control. Ensure full compliance with the Trust's detailed Financial Procedures, Standing Orders, Standing Financial Instructions and the department's Contract Procedures.
