Crynodeb
The current job plan is divided between out-patient (St Georges, Queen Marys), day surgery and in-patient delivery of services including surgery. The post attracts a 1:13 on-call commitment on the Urology Consultant of the week on-call rota (including weekend) which includes twice daily wards rounds with all patients being reviewed by the consultant. All elective commitments are cancelled when the consultant is consultant of the week. The appointee is expected to undertake teaching duties of undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff and other professional groups, to participate in research activities and to play a full part in the clinical governance programme.
