Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented person to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in local holiday homes. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work in creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping floors.
• Clean bathrooms, kitchens and other living spaces.
• Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries as needed.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to policies.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the team leader.
• Follow established safety procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all assigned areas.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet cleaning targets and schedules.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in housekeeping/cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and shifts if needed.
Work Environment:
• Physically demanding work involving standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in housekeeping/cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Driving licence not essential but preferable with own transport.
Hours:
• Flexible hours to be arranged on a weekly rota basis, main changeover days are Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday.
