Key Responsibilities
• Lead and advise on semiconductor product development programs, from concept through volume manufacturing, ensuring alignment with business and customer requirements.
• Provide expertise in wafer fabrication (front-end) processes, technology transfers, and engineering governance frameworks, enabling cost-effective and reliable production.
• Oversee back-end assembly, test, and packaging strategies, ensuring yield improvements, material qualification, and supplier development.
• Guide capital equipment manufacturing programs, including design-for-manufacture, cost reduction initiatives, and equipment validation for global deployment.
• Support cross-functional program and stakeholder management, ensuring technical and business objectives are met across international teams.
• Develop and implement project governance models, KPIs, risk management strategies, and escalation protocols to enhance program delivery.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide training in Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and project management methodologies, ensuring best-in-class execution.
• Collaborate with global partners and clients to identify and develop new semiconductor market opportunities within the UK and internationally.
• Contribute to R&D innovation efforts, process optimization, predictive maintenance solutions and continuous improvements.

Key Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of global experience across the semiconductor industry (design, front end and backend, and capital equipment).
• Proven success in leading cross-functional and cross-border programs with major semiconductor firms.
• Strong expertise in semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment & processes, manufacturing engineering, process improvements, technology development & introduction including volume manufacturing.
• Track record of driving cost reduction initiatives and delivering scalable manufacturing solutions across multiple sites.
• Experience in managing engineering services contracts.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to bridge technical, business, and strategic objectives.
• Data analytics skills creating visuals and dashboards using Power BI.
• Hands on with statistical process control, 8D, FMEA to support as a consultant

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical engineering.
• Masters in Business Administration is a plus
• Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt certified from recognized accreditation body) preferred.
• Certified PMP is preferred; Agile practitioners are welcomed to apply.
