This role
Metropolitan Thames Valley are currently looking for enthusiastic Housing specialists to join as on-site Housing with Support Managers across some of our schemes in the Midlands area. There are several roles available in Rushcliffe, Nottingham City and Derby, ranging from 20 hours per week to full time, 37.5 hours per week. These roles generally have requirement for a daily presence on site, Monday – Friday. Some of these roles have a requirement to take part on an on-call rota which is usually once every 13 weeks – there is extra renumeration for this. We ask that all applicants have a full driving licence and a car to use for work purposes.
As the Housing with Support Manager your main responsibilities will include the safe and effective running of your housing scheme. You will be the single point of access for customers regarding all housing and support related queries. You will be a positive and professional representation of the organisation, to customers, visitors, contractors, other professionals, and key stakeholders.
All the customers are aged 55 and above requiring support to maintain a dignified level of independence. This includes a single service plus several residences in close proximity to the service but living in the community. While not all customers will be receiving care from Metropolitan Thames Valley, this may be provided by third parties, and you will be a point of contact for these providers.
What you'll need to succeed
As you will be the on-site manager, experience is essential as you will be the go-to person. You will often be lone working and while there is a wider team to support you on a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for making the decision. To be considered for interview your CV must demonstrate:

3) A good understanding of Housing Management responsibilities and tenancy agreements rights and obligations
