Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) is looking for a proactive and passionate Advanced Pharmacy Technician – Stores to Lead the delivery of the stores and distribution services across both the City and Queens Medical Centre campuses.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred pharmacy services while helping drive quality improvements that impact thousands of patients.

A proven leader – confident in managing teams, line management responsibilities, and developing services.
Experienced in risk and performance management, audits, incident reporting, and ensuring compliance with medicines legislation and GDP.
A collaborative communicator who can influence, support and build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
A strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Organised, adaptable and proactive, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Driven by quality and improvement, passionate about providing safe, effective, and patient-centred services.

Under the guidance of the Principal Pharmacy Technician - Operational services:
• Proactively lead, organise, manage and develop the Pharmacy stores at NUH
• Contribute to strategy and implement service improvements in safety and operational efficiency and effectiveness whilst maintaining compliance with legislation
• Ensure all standard operating procedures and risk assessments reflect current practice, governance requirements and are implemented
• To be a role model and develop and maintain working environments that encourage teamwork, mutual support and respect
• To take part in the 7 day shifted rota and bank holiday duties
