Crynodeb
- The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 places a statutory duty on Havering Council to work in partnership with agencies, including the police to prevent crime and disorder in the borough. The Enforcement Officer will contribute to the client's legal responsibility and work for the purpose of assisting constables of a police force established under any enactment.
- To undertake duties as an Enforcement Officer (civil and criminal investigation). This includes but is not limited to enforcing of civil and criminal legislation as advised by the scheme of delegation which includes Injunctions and By-laws.
- To undertake tasked and proactive patrol duties, the primary role of carrying out focused and high levels of enforcement and investigation activities across the borough, addressing issues of crime and disorder, anti-social behaviour, nuisance, environmental issues and other offences.
