As a Cleaner at the College of Policing, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across a large and diverse site. This includes office spaces, training facilities, and accommodation buildings. Your role is essential in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for staff, trainees, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning duties across designated areas including offices, classrooms, communal areas, and residential accommodation.Work collaboratively with a team of cleaners to ensure the entire site remains clean and presentable at all times.Follow cleaning schedules and protocols, including deep cleaning routines and infection control measures.Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the Facilities Manager promptly.Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively, adhering to health and safety guidelines.Support special cleaning tasks during events, inspections, or seasonal changes.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in commercial or institutional cleaning is desirable.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good attention to detail and time management.Understanding of COSHH and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.

Large, multi-building site including office blocks, training areas, and residential accommodation.Fast-paced and dynamic, with varying cleaning needs depending on site usage.
