This full time post -36.5 hours per week (5 days out of 7) – will be based across both Exeter campuses.



We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Facilities Operations Manager (Cleaning) to join our team to deliver Facilities Operations in Cleaning. Delivering service excellence is a critical part of the role so experience of managing people, standards and HR processes is essential. Excellent planning and organising skills are also an essential part of the role as is communication and problem solving.





The successful candidate will manage a team of Assistant Facilities Managers in a combination of both academic and residential areas and support university and non-university events throughout the year. This is a demanding but fulfilling role to ensure the cleaning of all university managed spaces across both Exeter campuses reflects the reputation of the university and the expectations of our students, staff and external visitors. The post holder will work alongside the other Facilities Operations Manager on all cleaning aspects for the university and will be managed by the Senior Facilities Operations Manager.





This is great opportunity for the successful candidate to be exposed to many new facets of facility management, liaison and support multiple stakeholders, both externally and internally, event management support of Graduations, Open Days, Fresher’s Fairs and Event Exeter business and much more
