The Clinical Fellow role offers the post-holder an opportunity to: gain further enhance skills and knowledge receive educational and clinical supervision (named consultant) participate in weekly departmental teaching attend regular grand round, x-ray and M&M meetings work on specific personal goals gain experience in quality improvement obtain annual appraisal and revalidation In Acute Medicine, we aim to support and equip all of our Clinical Fellows with the knowledge, skills and confidence to be able to progress to a Senior Clinical Fellow position or apply for a post-graduate medical training programme. Providing candidates have an interest in acute medicine, the team welcomes applications from colleagues with full registration with the General Medical Council and demonstrate excellent clinical and communication skills. Acute Medicine I Stepping Hill Hospital I Stockport I Greater Manchester Our Acute Medical Team describes themselves as a passionate team; because of their fantastic progress the last 5 years we are looking to further expand our acute medical workforce and portfolio of acute services. The Acute Medical Team is located in a purpose built Acute Medical Unit, adjacent to the Ambulatory Care Unit and Emergency Department, and in close proximity to the Surgical Assessment Unit and Critical Care. If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £41.90.
