Crynodeb
To book complex endoscopic procedures according to clinical requirements. To answer and manage a high number of telephone enquiries. To deal with patient queries from stakeholders in the appropriate medical/surgical teams and provide updates as required. To advise on referral protocols, including the provision of referral proformas and guidance on where to send referrals. To undertake any other relevant duties appropriate to the grade, as required by the service. To follow agreed protocols and practices in all aspects of patient administration. To ensure all patient demographic details (address, postcode, GP, and ethnic group) are checked, and any amendments or corrections are made accurately and in a timely manner.
