Hours: 42.5 hours per week hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

Due to the site being a high Security Military Naval base, additional security checks will need to be made - BPSS level of security clearance is required. These checks can take up to 8 weeks to process. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member passports and have been a UK residence for the last 5 years can be considered for this role.
Responsibilities
The Senior Project Engineer role is responsible for leading the Infrastructure Project Quality Engineering Team. The role will be focused on the all sub-programme and main works packages within the Infrastructure development programme.
Your day to day will include:
-Managing a team of Quality Assurance Engineers across the KBJV 10 dock delivery programme, ensuring project engineering cover on a 24-hour basis depending on the nature and volume of works
-Supporting the development of the project engineering team to ensure appropriate skills and resource are in place
-Prepare, review and co-ordinate technical data with Project Teams, Pre-construction team and Engineering to ensure projects are planned with minimal impact to the project.
-Working with the Delivery Management Team (DMT) to advise and review project impact prior to and during construction
-Responsible for driving a health and safety culture on sites at all times.
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Project Engineer is great for you if:
-You have a Civil Engineering qualification or relevant experience and are a member of a technical institution or working toward member status
- Expert Knowledge on FRC construction techniques, including Soils, Subbase, piling Sub-Structure and Super structure.
- Experience in working on Major Projects inclusive of nuclear environments - CSCS Card Holder
