Salary: £12,557.23 to £12,678.68 per annum.



Contract Type: 30 hours per week, 30 weeks per year (term time only). Fixed Term until 19/06/2026.



Location: Paignton, Devon



We are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to provide support to staff and learners in order that all High Needs Learners have access to the curriculum, achieve on their study programme and fully participate in the life of the college. This post reflects the changes made by Government and Ofsted in recognising the additional levels of support needed by High Needs Learners. The support needs and Outcomes of High Needs Learners will be detailed on an Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and the role of the Learning Support Assistant is central in supporting the learner to fulfil their needs and statutory outcomes.



This post is to work up to 30 hours over 5 days, on a term time only basis.

The successful applicant will hold a level 2 qualification in Support (or similar) in addition to GCSE (or equivalent) Math's and English achieved at grade 4/C or above. You will have experience working in Learning Support/Coaching.
