The Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our tenants with daily living tasks and encouraging their independence. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with household tasks and routines
• Providing personal care, including intimate care
• Prompting or administering medication as required
• Promoting a warm, respectful, and inclusive environment
Hours
• 20 hours per week worked on a shift rota of 4 days out of 7
About You
We are looking for someone who:
• Has strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Can work effectively on their own as well as part of a team
• Is organised, punctual and reliable
• Holds (or is willing to work towards) an SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
• Is able to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of starting
• Experience in care is desirable but not essential – full training and support will be provided.
