We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support teaching and learning across the school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in pupil progress. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as an HLTA:
Delivering planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher
Supporting pupils’ learning in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
Assisting teachers with planning, preparation and assessment
Creating and adapting resources to support pupils with varying needs
Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils’ social and emotional development
Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents
Ideal HLTA:
Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience
Have experience delivering lessons or interventions independently
Be confident supporting learning across a range of subjects and year groups
Be proactive, adaptable and able to use their initiative
Have excellent communication and organisational skills as an HLTA.
