We are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join our Finance department at Acorn in Steeton, West Yorkshire. This role is responsible for ensuring that any outstanding customer debt is collected in a timely and professional manner.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

Starting Salary: £25,000+ (subject to experience)

Key Responsibilities Include:

Chasing of outstanding invoices from both Retail & Dealer Customers across a number of global entities
Handling customer queries and liaising with other departments where necessary to resolve issues
Processing of Direct Debits for end users
Posting payments from customers
Manage credit limit reviews for Dealer customers
Releasing of orders in line with cut offs
Reviewing ledgers and explaining outstanding balances
General administrative work such as filing, scanning, telephone calls and emails
Ensure that transactions are posted accurately and in a timely manner
Any additional tasks as requested by Management
Work in other functions in Finance as required to cover holidays & sickness
Skills & Experience:

Experience in a Credit Control role (advantageous but not essential)
Experience in Customer Service or Admin role (desirable)
Competent Excel skills
Keen eye for detail and accuracy
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Experience of SAP (ideal but not essential as full training is given)
Must be able to display the Acorn Values
