Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
Support individuals in achieving their personal care goals and promote independence.
Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in behavior or condition to senior staff.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients and their families throughout their care journey.
Ensure all care practices adhere to health and safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience in the care sector preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and colleagues.
Understanding of basic hygiene practices and first aid procedures.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet client needs.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others improve their lives.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle may be required depending on client locations.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 07:00; 16:00; 21:00
End Time: 10:00; 21:00; 08:00
Pay Per Hour: £12.80
Location: Plymouth, South West England
