This is a meaningful role for someone passionate about community engagement and social justice. As a Lived Experience Engagement Officer, you will ensure that the voices of those directly affected by the Home Office Windrush Scandal are heard, respected, and central to the Commissioner’s work. You will help build trust, foster collaboration, and support the co-design of solutions that reflect the lived realities of impacted communities. The role will also involve proactive outreach to communities across the African, South Asian, and wider Commonwealth diasporas, many of whom may be less aware of their rights and entitlements under the Windrush Schemes.
