Full time: 35 hours per week
Open-ended (permanent)
This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and we are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combine a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
The salary for this post is £29,588 - £33,951 per annum.
The Opportunity:
The post-holder will be expected to multi-task their duties in an organised coordinated approach, maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in record keeping.
This role will provide secretariat support for various committees, as such a proven ability to take minutes and monitor follow up on actions is required.
The role will require the management of diaries, along with the ability to provide support to seminars, meetings and events. Duties include proof reading, drafting and editing communication, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required. The post-holders will assist in a variety of tasks of variable scale and nature that may require the collation of data or performing of basic analysis to present information in an appropriate manner. The post-holder will be expected to be resourceful and work closely with the operational team to understand how to improve processes within the administrative team. The post-holder will have strong interpersonal skills.
Your skills and attributes for success:
You must have proven administrative experience in an office environment, with a high level of competency in IT literacy.
You will be comfortable with scientific or clinical terminology.
You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
This role will be required to deliver to deadlines and you must be able to manage conflicting priorities.
