Summary

Join us as an Asset Finance Manager

  • If you're an experienced deal leader, this is an opportunity to take on an important and strategic role in Asset Finance
  • As an Asset Finance Manager, you’ll be joining this mid office function alongside other senior team members to manage the execution of complex transactions, documentation, and growth propositions
  • You'll be building your career profile, as you join a team and collaborate across our business, in an environment where team working is encouraged and recognised

What you'll do

In this role, you'll be contributing to leadership, strategy and growth transformation as a member of the Product and Transaction Management (PTM) team. You’ll be developing a deep sector, business and market understanding at both macro and micro level.

Through the course of your work, you'll be:

  • Driving quality standards within the Asset Finance portfolio, through documentation standards and adherence to business process and policy
  • Leading the execution of complex transactions, new template documentation, and the development of products and propositions, in consultation with the frontline business, internal stakeholders and external legal counsel
  • Making sure that our execution process is robust and effective, and issuing lessons learned papers for discussion with the business and internal stakeholders

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for a strategic thinker with broad financial services transactional experience, including in a regulatory and commercial environment. In particular, significant experience in the asset finance market would be beneficial.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • Experience of negotiating and structuring financial services transactions, preferably asset finance
  • Knowledge of relevant legal policies, regulatory and statutory obligations and risk management
  • The ability to organise and execute work involving multiple internal stakeholders
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to see beyond it, and consider the strategic position
  • Confidence to engage with senior members of the business and build strong working relationships
  • The ability to problem solve and apply intelligent risk taking
  • A good understanding of the different functions that make up a financial services business, and their respective roles and responsibilities
  • The proven ability to work as a member of a team and provide support to less experienced team members
