Hays is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading organisation to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their dynamic team in Bishop Auckland.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone part-qualified in AAT, who already has some experience of working within a busy finance team.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently
- Preparing and executing bank payments
- Assisting with reconciliations and month-end processes
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks and reporting
What you'll need to succeed
- Ideally part-qualified AAT or equivalent experience
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Available for an immediate start
