Oatlands Park Hotel is located on the historic site of a Royal Tudor Palace built by King Henry VIII. We are hiring for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic Bar team!

You will thrive in a fast paced environment, and you should have a good knowledge about wines, spirits and cocktails.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will report to the Bar Manager. You will provide guests with an excellent drinking experience and always provide a high level of customer service.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- You will create classic and innovative drinks and pour pints.
- You will be responsible for setting up the bar, cashing up, locking up, stock takes, stock control, cellar management, cleaning lines, health & safety, and maintenance.
- You will promote, describe and upsell items, inform guests and offer alternative products.
- You will serve food and drinks to guests quickly and efficiently, with excellent customer service.
- You will restock supplies in the bar and ensure stock rotation.
- Ensure performance standards are adhered to.
- To ensure all bar areas are clean and tidy.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Hospitality qualification or be working towards one (Desirable, but not necessarily required).
- You should have a GCSE Grade C (or above) in English or Maths.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
