Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer

Covering North of Scotland(Elgin, Muir of Ord, Talisker) with possible travel to Islay - Full time

You'll keep things running, we’ll fast-track your career as a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer with Sodexo, we believe operational excellence starts with you, as your versatile skills contribute to the maintenance and continuous development of our prestigious client facilities.


This role involves travel across multiple sites in the North of Scotland, supporting planned and reactive maintenance, minor installations, and general facilities work.You will be part of a mobile team providing high-quality engineering services, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, safety protocols, and contractual service standards. Flexibility is key, as the role includes participating in the call-out rota and occasional overtime.As a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer you'll:
  • Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
  • Carry out electrical testing and maintenance, including emergency lighting, RCD testing, and microwave testing.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on electrical and mechanical systems (ventilation, AHUs, AC units, and more).
  • Install, repair, or replace equipment such as light fittings and plant machinery.
  • Support minor facilities tasks outside your core trade, such as basic plumbing, joinery, and smoke vent testing.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Participate in the on-call rota (currently 1 in 4 weeks).

What we're looking for:

  • 18th Edition Electrical Certificate (including 2nd amendment).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical systems such as ventilation and AHUs.
  • Experience with Hard Services PPM and reactive works.
  • Ability to work at height and sound understanding of Health & Safety.
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office, tablets, PDAs).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
