Crynodeb
Deliver engaging and interactive training programmes on restraint reduction theory and physical intervention skills, across virtual and in-person platforms. Ensure delivery of training is tailored to audience needs, acknowledging the subject matter is complex and emotive. Maintain a thorough understanding of current Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) Standards and ensure all training aligns with these standards and Respect Trainings values. As a specialist Trainer, provide advice to others, ensuring that this is in line with the agreed RRN standards and locally agreed organisational policies. Plan, design and coordinate training programmes in conjunction with the wider team. Demonstrate an ability to plan and adjust/amend training delivery in response to participant needs yet remain guided by policy. Engage in ongoing professional development and re-certification to remain current with emerging trends in restraint reduction, person-centred care, and relevant legislation, and to maintain compliance with BILD and RRN Standards. Assess participant competence, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of training programmes. Conduct observations and quality-assurance activities with affiliate organisations to ensure adherence to BILD and RRN Standards. Assist in developing the Respect Training network and actively participate in quarterly affiliate meetings. Contribute to the development of the team, service and relevant policies using ongoing feedback from training delivery.
