Are you an experienced Pre-Commissioning Engineer looking to take on challenging projects where your expertise really makes a difference?
Our client is a trusted specialist in the building services industry, offering services from hands-on commissioning and water treatment to ventilation ductwork cleaning, commissioning management, and planned preventative maintenance. With continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Pre-Commissioning Cleaning Engineer to join their team.
This is a hands-on role for a professional with proven knowledge of pre-commission cleaning, including both conventional and CPC filtration flushing. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality services in line with BSRIA BG29/2021 and BG50/2021, always with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Minimum 5 years' experience in pre-commission cleaning
• Proven experience with conventional and CPC filtration flushing
• Familiarity with water hygiene tasks, including TMV servicing, Calorifier inspections and Tank cleaning and disinfection
• Strong understanding of:
• BSRIA BG29/2021
• BSRIA BG50/2021
• Good knowledge of:
• PD855468:2015
• HSE ACoP L8
• HSG274 Parts 2 & 3
• HTM 04-01
• BS8552
• Strong commitment to health and safety, including chemical handling and COSHH procedures
• Competent in using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Able to safely operate and maintain company vehicles in line with required standards
What will your role look like?
• Carry out pre-commission cleaning tasks, including flushing and chemical cleaning of closed systems
• Perform water hygiene tasks as required
• Review schematics and drawings, perform dynamic risk assessments, and complete electronic site documentation
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and internal standards
• Maintain a high standard of site safety and vehicle care
