Location: Tebay, Cumbria - site based 5 days per week
Hours: Permanent Fulltime 45 hours per week
Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 per year + £5.9k annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits
What will you be responsible for?
As a Planner, you'll be a key member of an integrated planning and project controls team. Your responsibilities will include developing detailed and reliable programmes, tracking progress, identifying potential risks, and supporting the successful delivery of complex construction projects.
Your day to day will include:
-Develop, manage, and refine detailed project schedules aligned to project objectives and key milestones. Interfacing with the main Clause 32 programme
-Reviewing past performance, recoding as-built works. Manage as-built information for use in delay analysis and for feeding back into long term programmes
-Assess and communicate the schedule impact of change events, recommending mitigation strategies to avoid delays
-Ensure full compliance with NEC4 contractual requirements, including managing early warnings and programme submissions
What are we looking for?
This role of Planner is great for you if:
-Proven experience in planning major civil engineering or highways infrastructure projects, ideally within NEC4 contract environments
-Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, with the ability to produce, manage, and analyse complex, logic-linked programmes
-Ability to assess schedule risks and impacts of change, providing clear mitigation strategies and supporting contract compliance
