Job Title:BTEC Science Teacher
Location:Birmingham
Salary:£120 - £250 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type:Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Start Date:September 2025
About the Role
We are working on behalf of a well-regarded sixth form college in Birmingham to recruit a passionate and dedicated BTEC Science Teacher to join their supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on students at Key Stage 5, helping them develop both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective BTEC Science lessons
- Assess and monitor student progress and effective BTEC Science lessons
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive space
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
- A degree in Science or a related field
- Experience teaching BTEX Science at post-16 level
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
