Are you a skilled coach with a passion for hospitality and a drive to elevate apprenticeship standards?

Location: Remote, with regular travel across London (optional use of our London office)
Salary: From £30,000 + £3,500 London Weighting (for London Borough residents) + tax-free bonus + travel expenses

Join us as an Apprenticeship Development Quality Assurer and help shape the future of vocational training across London. At HIT Training, we’re transforming lives through high-quality apprenticeship programmes—and we want you to help us lead the way.

This is a remote-based role with regular travel in London (3–4 days per week) and the option to work from our London office if you prefer a hybrid environment.

What you’ll be doing:

Coach and Develop Vocational Trainers


Deliver face-to-face and remote coaching, mentoring, and teaching support
Identify trainer development needs and build tailored training plans
Support trainers through structured induction, CPD, and qualifications (e.g. TAQA, Learning and Skills Mentor)
Conduct regular teaching observations, giving actionable feedback to improve learner outcomes


Drive Quality and Compliance


Champion continuous improvement aligned with the Education Inspection Framework
Use quality assurance tools (e.g. e-portfolios, learner data) to identify gaps and underperformance
Work closely with Area Managers and other departments to ensure delivery consistency


Maximise Learning Impact


Design and run upskilling workshops, coaching interventions, and risk-based training sessions
Collaborate with employers during site visits to monitor the quality of apprenticeship delivery
Keep up to date with sector trends and innovation in digital and in-person learning strategies


About You:


Experience in hospitality apprenticeship delivery, vocational training, or quality assurance
Minimum Level 3 teaching qualification (e.g. Award in Education and Training)
Ideally, a Level 4 TAQA qualification (or willing to work towards – we’ll support you!)
Located for regular travel in and around London
A strong coach and mentor, with a passion for developing others
Coaching qualification (desirable)
