Communication and documentationTo establish effective communication networks with service users and carers, team members and other involved agencies for example, social servicesTo participate in multi-disciplinary meetings contributing to decisions regarding service users careTo provide support and education to service users and carers for example, fitting and use of equipmentTo provide written and verbal reports to members of the multi-disciplinary team and involved othersTo ensure that up to date written and electronic records and activity data are maintained in accordance with Trust policy.Service Development and DeliveryTo respect the individuality, values, cultural and religious diversity of service users and contribute to the provision of a service sensitive to these needsTo participate in the development and delivery of Occupational TherapyTo participate in the planning, evaluation and audit of practice, clinical pathways, policies, procedures and protocols within your areaTo contribute to the service and team quality, safety and governance agendaTo demonstrate an understanding of national guidelines and legislation relating to health and social care and their impact on service provisionTo be responsible for the effective use of resources needed to undertake service user interventions and treatment in accordance with professional and Trust standards.
