Crynodeb
The successful applicant will support the Staff Officer Grade 2 to control the daily activities of the Regional Infrastructure Cell (RIC) for all tasks that enable successful infrastructure delivery across the West Midlands. The role is co-ordination and delivery focused. You will be responsible for supporting the Grade 2 Staff Officer with the planning and allocating of resource within their annual budget and conducting meaningful engagement with external delivery agencies and partners, including the DIO and Industry Partners.
The job will include travel to various sites across the West Midlands where overnight stays may be required, therefore a driving licence is essential. As compensation, HQ RC, an inclusive employer, will grant time off in lieu, for the odd occasion when evening working is required to enable us to meet our objectives.
Main responsibilities.
Obtain and evaluate establishment need and priorities, apprising the RIC Forward (RIC Fwd) Infra lead of analysis, to enable them to inform the RIC planning and Balance of Investment decisions
Obtain and evaluate establishment needs and priorities to inform the Chain of Command and enable decision support
Support RIC Fwd activities by liaising with Heads of Establishment (HoE) and their designated representatives as well as representatives of the DIO, RFCA and their contracted Service Providers (SP)
Support the communication of the planned Command Infrastructure Delivery Plan (CIDP) works schedule to interested parties, HQ Central, HoE, DIO, RFCA
Capture and notify establishment issues and risks to allow consolidation of trends as well as trend analysis, and subsequent escalation where required
Identify breaches in service delivery performance within designated Area of Operation and assist in resolution where appropriate
Collate establishment feedback on Hard and Soft FM contracted service delivery satisfaction to report performance standards to the RIC
Provide Subject Matter Expertise contribution to Sites on Infrastructure / FM issues
Manage the Infra SharePoint page so that it is an informed forward repository of FM information easily navigable by stakeholders, from RC to local level, across the stakeholder community
