Hygiene Operative (Late Shift)
Based in Boston
1:30pm – 10:00pm | Any 5 days from 6 (Sunday to Friday)
£12.78 per hour
We’re currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to join our clients team on the late shift within a busy butchery environment on a temporary ongoing basis. This is a vital role, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are consistently maintained across all production and staff areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out daily cleaning routines using appropriate cleaning chemicals
Thorough cleaning and disassembly of processing equipment to meet hygiene standards
Regular temperature monitoring of chilled products and refrigeration units
Weekly collection and submission of swabs for microbiological testing
Cleaning floors and production areas, including mopping and sanitising
Maintaining cleanliness in staff canteens, changing rooms, offices, and washrooms
Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety and hygiene procedures
Completing and managing hygiene records accurately
What We’re Looking For:
Previous recent experience withing a similar position in a food environment
A strong eye for detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards
Ability to work effectively as part of a team within a butchery setting
Reliable with excellent time management
Confident with completing hygiene paperwork and following processes
Comfortable working within food safety guidelines and regulations
