Alderbrook Care Home in Leeds is a brand-new service that will become home to 160 residents with complex physical and mental health needs.

The Role
As a Care Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of our care team. From helping with daily routines to providing companionship, your role is about promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing for every resident. You’ll:
- Support residents with personal care and day-to-day activities, always encouraging independence where possible.
- Follow individual care plans and provide thoughtful, person-centred support.
- Spot changes in residents’ health and communicate promptly with our nursing team.
- Create a warm, homely environment where residents feel safe, respected and valued.
- Help at mealtimes, ensuring residents receive the nutrition and hydration they need.
- Most importantly bring kindness, patience and a smile to each interaction.
About You
We’re looking for people with a genuine passion for caring for others. Ideally, you’ll have some experience in a care role and an NVQ/SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, but if you don’t and you bring the right attitude and values we’ll support you with training. What matters most is that you’re compassionate, reliable, and a real team player.
