Job role: you will see women who have been invited to see you because they are age 18-45 and have either diabetes/prediabetes or a history of gestational diabetes. You will have an energised team around you to help provide holistic care. All practices use EMIS and you will use a template for standardisation of care You will be supervised by an experienced GP and receive specialised training from the hospital diabetes preconception team.
